I've also noticed a slight issue with 422 - it's so slight I can't see 
it on most streams, but there is a difference between what vdpau renders 
and xv or gl.

This is with vanilla mesa - nothing to do with interlaced/weave.

eg. on the fourth row where the colours meet the black vdpau bands, but 
xv and gl blend. Just to muddy the waters though, x11 looks like vdpau.

The 420 versions of that stream look the same (blended) with vdpau, xv, 
and gl but x11 still bands.
