Still broken I'm afraid:

  CXXLD  builtin_compiler
/usr/lib/gcc/sparc-sun-solaris2.10/4.5.3/libstdc++.so: could not read symbols:
File in wrong format

This is being snuck in via liblibglslcore.la:

$ grep ^depend libglslcore.la 
dependency_libs=' /usr/lib/gcc/sparc-sun-solaris2.10/4.5.3/libstdc++.la'

(host system is i686 linux)
