Comparing the branchpoint from master to the end of the series on my
IVB:

GLB2.7 trex FPS +5.32146% +/- 0.649187% (n=59).
cairo-gl runtime -2.28449% +/- 0.497044% (n=18).

I'll try to do review tomorrow.
