You're unlikely to find someone to review a 98kb patch.  You need to
come up with a series of incremental improvements to send to the list
using git send-email.

I don't like the idea of documentation moving away from the code itself.
One of the best features of doxygen is that the docs are right there in
the code so that normal developers might notice and fix it.
