I would happily toss out the ARB_shader_geometry_shader4 stuff and rebase my GL_OES_geometry_shader patches on top of that, but I would need some confirmation that this is actually the way we should go forward.
I will wait a couple of days for feedback, if no one is against it will soon be gone.
