Given that:

doesn't say anything about H/V siting or color space, skipping this
seems fine to me.

I would recommend doing all of the assignments here as
attr_list[index++] so that even the first 6 don't need manual numbers.
Fixed indices for attr lists sucks for the next person editing the code.
