Hi Emil,
It sounds like we're on track to land va64 this week, bringing i965
up to OpenGL 4.2, with no delays to the release schedule.
If you're OK with slipping the schedule a week, Curro and I think
we could land SIMD32 support, which would allow us to enable
GL_ARB_compute_shader properly and hit OpenGL 4.3. A number of games
require compute shaders to run, so it would be nice to have.
The code is already written and just needs rebasing and review.
Since we'd originally talked about slipping a week for fp64/va64,
I figured this might be reasonable. I don't want to delay for more
than a week, though. We can always land it in the next release if
you prefer the original schedule.
