Genuinely curious - have you tried creating/using a OpenGL context or is
this an educated guess based on the HW capabilities ?

So I have doubts anyone is using this string for anything useful in

Funny ... I actually used it a few weeks ago, although I did not check for
the 2/3 ones.

On the patch in question - feel free to go either way.
