I thought it doesn't break GLX according to
the commit message (investigation by Chad Versace).
Isn't it correct?

The issues I reported are all for Android.
Sorry if I didn't make it clear enough.

We still hope to use this patch to support
RGBA_8888 on Android since it gives
better app compatibility.
I guess some drivers (radeon/amdgpu/nouveau/swrast?)
need to be fixed to support RGBA_8888 better.
