Tried right now. Incidentally, I have always been working with SNA, since it is
fine on haswell and snappier than glamor.

I still see the issue with mesa as of

17.4 git snapshot taken on 17/11/15 07:30 commit id 65123e...

I'll try again when a newer build of a mesa snapshot is available for kubuntu
17.10 (likely tomorrow).
