FWIW, this is invalid usage. The Vulkan spec states: "Descriptors in
each bound descriptor set, specified via vkCmdBindDescriptorSets, must
be
valid if they are statically used by the currently bound VkPipeline
object, specified via
vkCmdBindPipeline".
