Even if somebody takes care of backporting all needed changes (and this
doesn't become too expensive due to the code diverging between master
and 18.0) and none are missed, there's a good chance it won't work at
any given time, due to the delay between the changes landing in master
and 18.0.


The alternative: Stick to "An LLVM SVN trunk snapshot requires a
corresponding Git master snapshot", as we've been doing for years.


It's a no-brainer to me...
