--with-sha1 was nuked back in Jan 2017 with commit
d1efa09d342bff3e5def2978a0bef748d74f9c82

Amongst the problems pointed out, there was some ~150loc build system
chaos, ~250loc compat wrappers.
While the sha1 implementation itself is ~200loc
