The best way to prevent this from happening would be to get the MSVC 
build job working again in the GitLab CI pipeline. (It was disabled 3 
months ago due to runner reliability issues, see 
https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/merge_requests/6495)

Personally I find the failed master jobs on 
https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/pipelines more annoying.
