I've been able to reproduce the problem. Your use case has been exercising a
code path that glxgears/heads/demo does not, with regards to HUD
free/destruction. glxgears termination never routes through the
free_query_data() function.
As a result we've been destroying the sensors library context way too early.
Can you please confirm the attached patch resolves the origin crash you're
seeing?
