That would be useless. Most OpenGL textures can be shared with other<br>
GPUs and processes via the EGL dmabuf extensions. Relying on<br>
PIPE_BIND_SHARED is a bug by itself and no driver should do that.<br>

To answer the original question the comment in the patch was about an issue with sharing tiling information, but I think that is long fixed by now.<br>
