Great, thanks for the confirmation.
If you use something like LD_PRELOAD='/foo/$LIB/nwuser.so' in your nwn script
the linker will expand $LIBS accordingly and use the correct file. Sparing you
the "wrong ELF class: " message... in theory at least ;-)</pre>
