<pre>I bisected the regression again, this time with the benchmark mentioned in the
post above (JXRenderMark) and I was agin led to the following commit:

So regardless of different manifestations, this commit seems to introduce
regressions for antialiased rendering using the Xrender Java2D backend.</pre>
