So far I'm not seeing how either of that could be the case.

I'm not sure about this anymore, since thread 6 (from Qt) is stuck in
xcb_wait_for_event. Maybe there's some kind of bad interaction between that and
xcb_wait_for_special_event.
Anyway, I won't be able to investigate more for a couple of weeks at least.</pre>
