I'm suspecting funky caching on Travis side, we had that in the past.

Anywho, let's not bother with the series for stable.
It's a sizeable rework/fixup and 17.2.x has been around for a while so
let's keep any possible disruptions to a minimum.

Please drop the LLVM_APPEND_VC_REV workaround as well.
