[Mesa-users] OpenGL Version in Mesa 9.1 at 2.1

Thanks Phillip but, I'm not entirely certain what that link represents.
First off, There is no indication here why my chipset is running OGL v2.1
from the release I recently compiled. Secondly, this appears to be a
checklist but - I'm not certain how this applies to my question. If the
i915 is completely not listed here, then does that mean that there is
nothing for it?
A roadmap or checklist would be great. Also, I would be willing to offer
whatever help I could to get up to speed as well.
