Just prior to trying to install Mesa, I installed libdrm-2.4.33. It installed a bunch of library files like libdrm.so.2.4.0 and libdrm_nouveau.so.1.0.0. I believe that's close to the latest available. Also, that's what's recommended by the BLFS folks.
Is there any way to verify that the installation was indeed done properly?
Since the missing Mesa files are in the Mesa source tree, where would libdrm put the missing files? Can you check an existing libdrm or Mesa installation to find out?
Thanks!
Alan
