[Mesa-users] Mesa with VSXU on AWS or headless Ubuntu

Hi Mesa List,

I am working on a side project where I want to enable musicians to upload
songs they have created, and have music videos automatically generated for
them in the cloud, which they can download or transfer to YouTube later.

Thus, I am looking to run music visualization software in the cloud for the
backend. The guys at www.vsxu.com have some very cool looking stuff, which
they have open-sourced on github. The focus of VSXU is real-time display,
which I don't need, but it produces great results. It sounds like it may be
dependent on hardware acceleration though.

So, I have several questions about how to accomplish things:
1) Does anyone have an AMI for running an EC2 instance with Ubuntu (or
other Linux) with Mesa?
2) If not AWS, I run Ubuntu 12.04LTS on a Linode virtual server, so perhaps
that's another option. Thoughts?
3) Has anyone tried running VSXU or similar music visualizer software on
top of Mesa?
