Hey guys,
the last few days I was wondering if I had a working geometry shader
extension and then in which mesa version it would come. Maybe I am
overlooking something. I tried to find the extension with glxinfo and
tried a shader demo of opentk.
I own a Radeon HD 7870 and I am using the free radeon drivers that come
with fedora, so radeon. I found that the shader should be there for
southern island, like written here:
http://mesamatrix.net/#Version_OpenGL3.2-GLSL1.50_Extension_Geometryshaders
and http://www.x.org/wiki/RadeonFeature/
So, Problem is that I have no clue if the feature is actually available,
which version of mesa, wether there was some news about this (Did google
or duckduckgo it :P) or or or. So Im kinda confused because of all the
green fields on the feature site.
Do you know if the geometry shader extension is working with the free
driver?
Many thanks,
AxP
