Hi,

Got mesa-18.1.1.tar.gz from the download site, configured and made.

Am trying to use it for a package (Overture) but the Overture build fails because it cannot find libGLU.so among the libraries.

When I look in my lib folder, I don't see it. What do I need to do for mesa to build this library?

skumar@KumarLaptop:~/Software/src/Mesa/mesa-18.1.1/lib$ ls
gallium libEGL.so.1.0.0 libglapi.so.0 libGLESv2.so libGL.so.1.2.0 nouveau_vieux_dri.so
i915_dri.so libgbm.so libglapi.so.0.0.0 libGLESv2.so.2 libOSMesa.so r200_dri.so
i965_dri.so libgbm.so.1 libGLESv1_CM.so libGLESv2.so.2.0.0 libOSMesa.so.8 radeon_dri.so
libEGL.so libgbm.so.1.0.0 libGLESv1_CM.so.1 libGL.so libOSMesa.so.8.0.0 swrast_dri.so
libEGL.so.1 libglapi.so libGLESv1_CM.so.1.1.0 libGL.so.1 mesa_dri_drivers.so

Also downloaded glu-9.0.0, MesaGLUT-7.9.2, and mesa-demos-8.4.0 and compiled them as well. I cannot see this library anywhere.

Please help.
Look in ftp://ftp.freedesktop.org/pub/mesa/glu/

or, your linux distro should have a libglu package which you could install.
