And how about to be more plastic reggae fantastic regarding to MMBearerIpMethod, 
e.g. 
/etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-mmbeareripmethod-static.rules
ATTRS{idVendor}=="<VID>", ATTRS{idProduct}=="<PID>", ENV{MM_BEARER_QMI_FORCE_DHCP}="0"
so if necessary, it can be switched to STATIC.
