I've got one of these, a Novatel USB1000 which reports the same
capabilities. In reality it's just a Gobi 1K in a USB stick instead of
a minicard.
These issues are actually in libqmi, not ModemManager. The "SIM
Identifier" was fixed for libqmi-1.12. DMS band capabilities aren't
actually supported in these devices, but that shouldn't be a fatal
error for ModemManager. The issue is probably the SIM thing.
Can you try with an updated libqmi, at least 1.12 or higher? Don't
need to rebuild ModemManager AFAIK, just update libqmi and I believe
things should start working.
