Help with *-port-type.rules

I'm trying to fix the GPS for the Cinterion plugin for the PLS8-X and I'm
just a little confused about the 77-mm-cinterion-port-types.rules file. I
see it sets a uDev tag based on idVendor and idProduct, of which idProduct
is wrong for this new modem. I'm just not quite sure where this file is
auto-generated? Well I see by the makefile but I don't get where I would
make the changes to it to add the new idProduct(0061)?  Can anyone help
shine light on this to the newbe if it's something easy.
