I see one of two different errors:
$ mmcli -m 0 --3gpp-scan
error: couldn't scan networks in the modem: 'unknown error'
$ mmcli -m 0 --3gpp-scan
error: couldn't scan networks in the modem: 'Timeout was reached'
$ mmcli -m 0 --3gpp-scan
error: couldn't scan networks in the modem: 'unknown error'
$ mmcli -m 0 --3gpp-scan
error: couldn't scan networks in the modem: 'Timeout was reached'
$ mmcli -m 0 --3gpp-scan
error: couldn't scan networks in the modem: 'Timeout was reached'
$ mmcli -m 0 --3gpp-scan
error: couldn't scan networks in the modem: 'unknown error'
$ mmcli -m 0 --3gpp-scan
error: couldn't scan networks in the modem: 'unknown error'
