Old ZTE and Huawei devices forbidden in strict filter

Hey,

Distributions have started to ship 1.8 RC1 and RC2 versions, and we
already have some reports about the strict filter not picking up some
ZTE and Huawei devices:

Those reports are actually expected; these devices only expose 3 TTYs
and so we don't have any clear indication of what kind of device they
are. But these are ZTE and Huawei devices... and I'm tempted to say
that we could actually be less strict for these 2 manufacturers... do
we know of any other TTY-only devices that these manufacturers
produce?
