The carrier configuration/revision information is currently
implemented only for devices that support and use the QMI PDC service
for carrier config management (e.g. DW5821e). Implementing this
support for Sierra devices shouldn't be difficult, as the QMI DMS Get
System Selection Preference and QMI DMS SWI Get Current Firmware also
provide this information.

We could also implement the support to enable/disable automatic
carrier configuration selection in Sierra based devices, as that is a
feature already implemented by the devices themselves, instead of
needing to do it manually with a custom MCCMNC vs carrier config
mapping, as we have in the DW5821e.

Lots of things that could be done here :)
