Memory Full Error

Please excuse me if this is an inappropriate place to post this,
I searched around for a MM User List and this was all I found.

I'm having trouble sending and receiving SMS messages.
I have done a number of searches for this error message
and it has turned up only one reference that was no help.
I have tried uninstalling (complete), deleting all associated
files (data and lib), and then re-installing, no joy...  :-(

The error message I am getting every time I try to SEND is,

"(GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.libmbim.Error.Status.MemoryFull: 
Couldn't send SMS part: MemoryFull)"

and I am unable to receive any text either...

What do I need to do to get my SMS working again ?
Modem is a Sierra Wireless 340U with PureTalkUSA
and it worked fine for 8 months, until about a month ago...

I am using modem-manager-gui v0.0.19.1
and ModemManager v0.0.19.1
under Linux Mint 19.3 Cinnamon v4.4.8, muffin/LightDM
Kernel v5.3.0-62-generic
on an Intel© Core™ i3-2350M CPU @ 2.30GHz × 2 Laptop
with 7.7 GB RAM and 462 GB available on the SSD...
