The "mm-common-helpers.h" file is not really part of the API, it's not
even installed, so I've kind of felt safe updating that implementation
without caring much about API/ABI. Very similar to what already
happened in 1.12:

We should definitely have a symbols file for libmm-glib, as per
https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mobile-broadband/ModemManager/-/issues/175
but I didn't manage to work on that yet.
