HI,

  I am using a  ModemManager - 1.8.4 ( Ubuntu 16.06.4)  running on a Sierra
Wireless EM74xx modem.

I am starting the ModemManager with --paranoid argument to blacklist some
of the ports in the udev.

But when the ModemManager starts up I get the following error message.

dbus[1032]: [system] Rejected send message, 2 matched rules;
type="method_return", sender=":1.6" (uid=0 pid=1110
comm="/usr/sbin/ModemManager --filter-policy=paranoid ")
interface="(unset)" member="(unset)" error name="(unset)"
requested_reply="0" destination=":1.10" (uid=0 pid=1222
comm="/usr/bin/MyDaemond  ")

This happens only when I start with an argument paranoid.

How can this be prevented ?

Thanks,
Ratnavel
