How did you build and install libqmi 1.12.10?
Did you use the default /usr/local prefix plus then LD_LIBRARY_PATH when
running the daemon?
Or, did you configure with --prefix=/usr to overwrite the system-installed
one?

I totally don't expect this with that library version.
