I cannot explain why ModemManager doesn't see the udev tags, a bit of
a mistery. If the tags are there, and reported correctly by udevadm,
why does MM not see them?
Could you build and run the "lsudev" tool in the ModemManager sources
(under /test) and run it like this?
$ sudo ./lsudev wwan
Also, the log you posted is not from MM 1.18.4, it looks a modified
versin. I cannot find a reason to explain how this line is generated:
ModemManager[32336]: <debug> [000001804.593237] [filter] registered
plugin whitelist vendor id: 17cb
Can you test with 1.18.4 unmodified?
