No. In fact it's almost the exact opposite. It was up today for 11 hours straight but this was with nothing connected to it. No pings no anything. As soon as I connect a computer and start using it, it will go down anywhere between 5 min and 45 min. Sometimes faster sometimes slower.

On Feb 8, 2017 9:34 PM, "Sebastian Sjoholm" <sebastian.sjoholm@gmail.com> wrote:

> On Feb 8, 2017, at 21:14 , Russ Westrem <lspwaterproofing@gmail.com> wrote:
The ip actually does stay the same. The Mmcli -b 0 shows not connected. The only way to reestablish a connection is to issue an ifup. The bearer then changes to Mmcli -b 1 and the connection lasts for another few minutes until the process repeats itself.
Could it be some inactivity timer from the network side?

After you do connect, keep pinging one address so that there is activity on the connection, does it go down after the 30min again?

Then you could try to manually do a disconnect after 20min, and then connect again. Would it keep the connection alive for another 30min?
