</span>To clarify, these extra 3 steps are only needed if manually running<br>
ModemManager, as it would need to get reported the kernel events that<br>
happened until then.<br>
<br>
You can also just edit the /etc/init.d/ModemManager file to add the<br>
extra --debug, and restart using the init file, and the extra steps<br>
wouldn't be necessary, as they are done by the init file.<br>
