Confused about xesam:asText

MPRIS does not define a format for xesam medatada. there is a xesam at lists.freedesktop.org list at https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/xesam although it does not seem active. Maybe try asking there nonetheless, see if anyone replies?
