[Nouveau] Brightness control

Hi everyone,

I have a Sony Vaio CW2 laptop, with an Nvidia GeForce 310M card. I
have an issue with screen brightness, which I have reported here --

As I have asked in my last comment, is there a way to prevent nouveau
from exporting the backlight brightness control interface? That way, I
could probably use the equivalent interface provided by nvidiabl
(https://github.com/guillaumezin/nvidiabl) and have better brightness
control. If such a feature does not exist, could it be considered for
addition as a kernel parameter?
