I forgot to attach the xrandr output ... 
The strange thing is, that the second monitor seems to be connected (according
to the output). And it seems, that both desktops are being rendered on the same
absolute position even if DVI-I-2 is configured right-of. I've tried all
combinations of positions without success.

Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 3840 x 1080, maximum 8192 x 8192
