For some reason the log does not provide any information about
entering/resuming from suspend (suspend to ?ram/disk?)

The only thing that is a bit disturbing is
"[ 3634.972104] [drm] nouveau 0000:02:00.0: Unexpected pageflip in channel 4."

Thus can you try disabling Pageflip in xorg.conf(Option "PageFlip" "off"), to
determine if pageflipping is related to your issue
