With 3.11-rc7, I no longer see the same stuttering described in the initial bug
report. There is, however, still a 100% load kworker thread, lots and lots of
EDID checksum failed messages, and long periods of unresponsiveness when
changing resolution. Adding drm_kms_helper.poll=N removes the repeated EDID
checksum messages, but the system still becomes unresponsive for large
stretches of time after changing resolution, and there's still a kworker thread
at 100%.
