Thanks for your report. The commits you reference are, I think, un-related. 5k
or 6.6k RPM is just insane! As everything looks fine from the kernel logs
perspective, could you provide me with your vbios[1]?

I am taking this issue very seriously, so please help me out so as we can fix
it!
