Thank you very much for the enormous help with triaging this bug.
A few quick tests on my system indicate that the problem is resolved by the
linked patch. AFAICS the patch is only in the master branch as it just missed
the 10.0.4 and 10.1.0 release. The commit is annotated and will be included in
the next mesa bug fix releases.

Feel free to reopen the report if the bug is still around with the patch from
commit 41.
