[Nouveau] Problems with QT Creator

Problem:
QT Creator application hangs on boot up.

Setup:
 LUbuntu 14.04, with Geforce 7500LE card

If I install the nvidia driver QT Creator does work.  How can I trace the
issue and provide some feed back?
