For completeness I just got to mention another time (because it has been
mentioned in another issue):
The nouveau driver worked _before_ kernel 3.19.x on the same hardware and
stopped to work beginning from 3.19.x.
The problem reported in this issue applies to the kernel after commit
4195f40685a5f2783b4decece13ed740b61ee038.
