A backtrace would be a good start (with symbols, obviously). Also, make a
mention of which GPU you're using. Lastly, I'm not sure if gnome-shell has
jumped on the "let's use GL from multiple threads" bandwagon, but if so, that's
just plain broken on nouveau for now - no point in trying to debug further.
