<pre>Can you try like one or two other ones just to confirm? You can do like "xrandr
-s xxxxx; sleep 5; xrandr -s 2880x1800" which will restore the old resolution.
You can tell nouveau to do the scaling itself by setting the scaling mode
xrandr property to full. Something like
xrandr --prop "Scaling Mode" "Full"
I'm going on memory, so run "xrandr --props" to get the actual name of the
property.</pre>
