Also, not sure if it helped or I was just lucky, but running kernel 5.1.6 with CONFIG_IOMMU_DEFAULT_PASSTHROUGH=y and CONFIG_PREEMPT=y CONFIG_PREEMPT_COUNT=y CONFIG_PREEMPT_RCU=y CONFIG_PREEMPT_NOTIFIERS=y CONFIG_DEBUG_PREEMPT=y [low-latency desktop in kconfig] apparently helped my stability with nouveau and 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation G92 [GeForce 8800 GS] (rev a2) but I can't be ubersure, may be this is weather, or power (un)stability ..currently uptime is '05:18:58 up 6 days, 1:10, 2 users, load average: 0.85, 1.04, 1.05' and before this same machine was staying on and s2ram for two weeks. So, may be preemtion level actually can play some role?
